Very nice muzzle work Kim! We should be seeing a lot more "Rush" pups in the near future!!

wow nice civil aggresion, is it me or does Rush tend to throw a broad skull.
? why did the guy keep pulling the dog off in the muzzle attack, ie strike, punch, pull dog off with leash, strike, punch, pull dog off, with leash.....i assume it is to build frustration and reinforce the strike, apparently is working.
lastly those rigid muzzles, they must impact hard on the point of contact with the dogs face to distribute the momentum of the collision, i don't like.
what a great looking animal doing evidently serious civil work.
BTW, those people need to clean their office up.

LOL
Your correct on the technique VK. I don't care to much for the muzzle pressure on the face either but it is a necessary evil to proof a dog. I find the metal ones are actually easier on the dog than the thick leather ones.
Having said that, we have about 8 of them but never use them in muzzle fighting.......they slip off with the flick of a pinky finger. To dangerous to use.
And, it is only required several times for training. Yes, all of Rush's pups have big melons and broad chest as well.
On another note, there is a rumor that this Black Machine (Ikar) just might be headed to a Pirates Lair located somewhere in Canada.

thinking what's best for the breed i formally assume the sole right to manage all of rush's future breedings. sure you can feed him, train, keep any stud fees etc but i feel this dog under my management will better serve the long term health of the breed.
my first condition is he is banned from being studded out to internet breeders that have every internetally "hot, flavor of the month stud " in their peds.
they all ignored this dog while he was in their own back yard (more or less) and as his recogntion grows so too will their interest, screw that, screw them.
so please get to changing all your letter head to acknowledge me as his manager.
thanks.

Very true VK. I will never understand why he was not used more here right in Canada. I had the privilege of using his son "Sly" as a Stud. Excellent reports from new puppy owners and trainers!

I love IKAR very much, his owner has an eye for good dogs. Please i have a question that should not be taken as a criticism of the owner or dog.
-Why do they seem to not do much grip building, sometimes the dog launches very fast and it's just physically impossible to immediately get a full grip. Regardless or being a sport dog or not, do you think helping the dog a little like a do in KNPV,NVBK etc can be beneficial to the dog?
Side note..Ikar has produced some nice progeny, My favorite is Car z Bytcianskej doliny

Lots of nice breedings by small czech breeders, lot of west german influences in recent times which is very good for bringing speed.
