Hello all
I promised to post some pics. of a slimmed down dog - well, here she is. Working Line. 14 months now. Comments welcome.

OH well, guess no-one thought much of the pics. :( I was hoping for a critique of her shape now that she has slimmed down. She has a very thick coat so maybe it's not so easy to see?

Runag, your dog is a good looking mix of show/working lines. I like her.

Runag,
I would still prefer to see her a bit slimmer, but she looks beautiful.
Even with her thick coat, most people want to see youngsters looking a bit rangey. Sorry, I know what rangey should look like but I have a bit of a time explaining it.
Here's how I see it: You can feel her ribs a bit and she should look like she has some filling out to do. Like a gangly teenager.
Also, perhaps you would get more responses if you posted before and after pics.
Most people are to lazy to go back and look at your earlier posts to see the difference.
Very Pretty Girl :)

Pretty dog that appears to have a very functional structure, but still needs to lose some weight.

Sorry but she still looks out of shape. Its hard to tell if she is overweight just from a pic but she looks out of shape for what I like. What kind of exercise does she get?

by Runag on 18 August 2014 - 18:08
Baugh
about 1 mile road walk on lead and around one hour free running on field with other dogs daily. She is very strong, has a really thick coat and is well muscled - also very greedy!
Here are some before and after pics.

Good exercise so how much are you feeding and what are you feeding?
