Illiano Vom Fitschenslag question - Page 1

For those of you who have seen VA Illiano Vom Fitschenslag, what do you think of his head size? I have heard he has a small head and produces small headed puppies? I would like your comments on Illiano himself, head size, conformation, pigment, ect. and what you think of him as a producer, especially of males. Thank you. 

I only have seen Iliano in pictures, I do not know how good he produces, but I personally think his own head is slightly small, probably his front upper arm needs a bit more length, his topline is too arched, croup is steep, he is of medium or slightly above medium size, super pigment, he also has a deep rear just like most of VAs.

Looking at pictures of offspring, I see some have small heads & some have normal heads, but didn't see any who has a super head.

i think his head is correct.just not the gaudy, watermelon sized, Akita head that people are in love with nowadays.

The trend today is big heads.. I like a medium to larger head but some have overdone it.

For proper work , a big huge head is a deterant ,.  THE  more medium structure from head to toe is usually a better representative for the job a shepherd is expected to do.

I laughed at the judge yesterday at Sieger critiques stating that one of the dogs ran out of gas but we forgive it today??????????  If the dog is so big he has lung capacity problems  maybe we need to reduce the size of what is being reproduced by great numbers..YES the larger full haired boy is beautiful..But if he runs out of gas, and no gas station what next???

YR  That has to be the best and most truthful post I have seen in a while.  Any dog of mine that cannot keep up when we go riding does not stay with me for long.

I have lots of things I can say about the royal breed we see but like I posted on another thread about   is that the standard?   Yes TOTO is the standard and I shut it down..If we have to explain day after day on a German Shepherd forum what we know to be a proper working dog no matter what blood lines or where they come from, if they do not tote the mail, then it is not correct.'

Vocabulary is not short in most americans breaksfast table but I cannot understand why people have to be so blinded by hog wash or brain washed by some breeder to believe every thing with 4 legs , a tail that curls up and what some one says is Ok is really ok.

I MADE  a statement that Drs prescribe Premarin to women and do not even look back when they ignore warnings , as to the danger of this drug, but does that mean it is standard proceedure or good..NO>

Got a few emails or pms back from women who shouted like I do...Not everything advertised is true nor good..Same with bloodlines and dogs..No one holds a gun to my face and tells me to accept what I do not think is worthy to work or breed .Neither should anyone else.
