I know what I like and don't like about my bitch, but would like some outside views. This girl is from the first litter we had after taking a 12 year hiatus. She just got her BH last month and we are planning on trying for IPO1 in the next couple of months. She is 22 months old. I know the grass will prevent critiques of her pasterns and feet... I apologize for that.

German Shepherd female medium size and strength that is slightly, only slightly stretched, good strong head of good planes, good medium dark eye, earset a bit wide, good strong neck, good high and long withers, good level back, slightly, only slightly long loin, good croup position but slightly short, good tail and tailset. Good rear that could use a bit more angulation, strong hock, nice underline, looks standing straight on fore legs, good chest depth, front upper arm needs a bit more length and angle but shoulder blade lay back is very good. Allover a nice bitch that has good substance and a beautiful smooth top line without notable interruptions. Beautiful girl, good luck.

light eyes, tucked underline, under angulated shoulder assembly and a bit long.
nice topline, withers could be slightly higher, parallel planes on head, good earset,
cannot tell about pasterns, or width of dog.
she looks like she's balanced and built for IPO.

Would be better if you could show us a video of her stacking and her movement; front, rear and sidegate. Otherwise she is just a dog standing in tall grass. Kudo's on her BH, good luck with her IPO's.
PS: Nice length of neck.

Thank you so much for the feedback. It is much appreciated. I saw a lot of what Ibrahim pointed out, so good to know I'm not too kennel blind I would like if she was a little heavier in bone and not quite so narrow in width. Overall, she is a solid working girl that is an absolute joy to work and live with.

Now this is interesting ... Ibrahim and Sitasmom cannot both be
right in their assessment of the eye colour and ear set.
I'd say that the eyes are slightly lighter than I'd like to see (not
forgetting this is a black dog); and I agree with Ibrahim that the ears are
a tiny bit too far apart.
But I also think SM correct when she says the dog has a bit of
a 'tuck-up'; and agree with both that she could do with a little more
front angulation. Despite the length of the grass, I'd say her pasterns
are correctly laid. FWIW.
Overall, she is a pretty picture, and looks as though she is athletic
and ready to work. Have fun with her.

Beautiful day Hundmutter,
Eyes,
Taking into consideration her color and light at the moment of shot, I couldn't describe them as light when they do not stand out of place in relation to surrounding face color, so I chose to describe them as good medium dark, but not excellent and not very good and obviously not faulty.
Underline
I see a slightly long loin more than a undesirable tuck up that could cause instability for rear parts in trot. I could be wrong after seeing her trot. I use nice that is same as good, I also use very good and rarely excellent. As underline is not terrible I gave only nice and noted the slightly extra length in loin. People have different wordings for ratings of parts.
Also, people would see things slightly in varying degrees , that is only natural. A critique of still stack is a primary evaluation to start with, a trot would be more reliable for a correct evaluation.A judge on site would be in better position to give closer to truth evaluation.
Also it is always better for OP to hear more than two critiques on the forum as that gives him/her a better idea how others see the dog. In the end we might differ on evaluating a certain part whether very good or only good but we wouldn't differ that allover she is a beautiful healthy looking bitch

Tuck up.....has nothing to do with the "stability of the rear parts". Ibrahim, if you find this dog with undesirable tuck up, you would appolled by the tuck up of my dogs. The tuck up indicates either the dog is starving (not) or that the dog is fit, with beautiful hard abdominal muscles. A dog with thickness in the abdomen is soft, out of condition and flabby in the gut...more likely to have torsion.
A dog with a tight abdomen and tuck up is fit, will have core body strength and power.

Joanro, thank you for the explanation, I agree with you that the underline isn't bad at all.
I described the dog's underline as nice
strong hock, nice underline, looks standing straight on fore legs, good chest depth,
And I explained later why I did not note the tuck up as Sitasmom did, saying that I see a slightly long loin rather than a undesirable tuck up
I see a slightly long loin more than a undesirable tuck up that could cause instability for rear parts in trot.
Hopefully that is clear
Ibrahim
