Here is my prediction few top placements i have een almost all the dogs and i think these dogs only deserve to be reworded with VA rating, it's a joke to give VA rating to dogs which were shown in Germany at the BSZS and they placed in thirth ring there and they come to USA few weeks later and get VA rating and beat dogs from first ring from BSZS .I think this is very fishy don't you?
VA1 Nino von Tronje
VA2 Chacco von der Freiheit Westerholt
VA3 Opus vom Radhaus
VA4 Degas vom Hanneß
VA5 Mailo vom Kuckucksland
VA6 Whisky von der Wasserkuppe

The show is a little more than two weeks away. Entries are posted on the website. Excellent turnout. Website shows 321 entries in the stock coat classes with the longcoat entries not posted yet.
Looking over the entries, lots of information jumps out. This year we are back to one SV and one USA judge. At times there has been objections to the lack of SV judges as the theory is the results are not recognized internationally. I'm not sure who plans to try and take their US VA dog and have it retain their VA rating in Germany. Probably a small group.... If that's your intention, you're right. Your VA dog here from a USA judge will not really get the attention it did here in the US in Germany. Realistically, neither will your VA awarded under an SV judge.
For everyone else, the numbers speak for themselves. This year in the stock coat classes there are substantially more female entries than male entries with a strong turnout.
Strong turnout is interesting too. There's a good mix of Imports and American bred dogs. The entries have a variety of American kennels throughout the classes. I'm thinking from what I see so far; the excitement and enthisiasm found at the US sieger shows is still alive and well.
Quality in the working classes is strong. At least three German VA entered, some returning VA, some excellent potential VA coming from the first ring in Germany. Number of entries is high in both classes, my calculations from previous events say there's room for about 8 VA. This show is different from some in the past. For a few years the VA opportunities have been choked up with the number of returning VA dogs leaving little room for new comers. This year there's some room to make a run for the ratings.
Present and true to USCA's focus on the breed is The performance ratings for the front and back have of the performance test. Good time to show off what you and your dog can do. Take advantage of the time you have left to prepare.
Absolutely the Priemier Event this year. Looking forward to it. Hope to see you there.

i think this is a great opportunity for any newbie/enthusiasts to enter. It's not every day that you can say your dog was up against the world's best.
Good luck guys and girls!

Personally, I find it remarkable and almost touching that Nino von Tronje, who is owned by a GSDCA Board Member and AKC judge, is entered at this Siegershow. I find it a tremendous overture in adding to this show, if he is shown or not. He would be my favorite but all those dogs that have made it so far are tops in this country. Good luck to all competitors and Godspeed.

Let's hear from everyone who plans to attend the Sieger Show in St. Louis. The spectacular array of animals registered make this a "can't miss" event
