Here are a bunch of X-rays from various ages/sexes to have fun with. The younger dogs did not have official ratings, but the older dogs did. Some have bad positioning. It will be interesting to see what everyone else sees on these.
1) 6 Month old male, unsedated
2) 6 month old Female, unsedated
3) 6 month old Male, unsedated
4) 7 month old Male, unsedated
5) 18 month old Male - sedated
6) 2 yr old Female - sedated (hips & elbows)
7) 3 yr old Male - sedated (hips & elbows)

I would pass 2.5.6 on hips; elbows don't know; others probably would not pass. 6 months old is too young but critique of l, maybe would pass.
3 and 4 moderate to severe dysplasia.
7 hips look fair, elbows look rough. Thanks for sharing Nan

Nan and I agree on most.
1, 2 good for breed and age
3. xray isn't diagnostic quality, best guess fair to borderline for breed and age
4.moderate HD, unilateral right
5.normal for breed and age
6. fair
left elbow OK, right elbow probably won't pass
7.fair, both elbows look OK to me

1) looks good for age.
2) the neck of the femur is not well-developed. It's almost the same diameter as the ball of the femur. May improve with age, could go fair.
3) Sockets shallow, poor coverage. May go mild/borderline.
4) R hip is completely luxated (dislocated). L is subluxated (too much space between ball and socket.
5) Good hips
6) Sockets are shallow, may go fair. R elbow is a definite fail. There is a chip of bone off the end of the ulna.
7) Fair - sockets could be deeper. There MAY be some remodelling on the edge of the right ball joint, or could be normal wear and tear. Elbows look okay.

BTW, #4 would be SEVERELY dysplastic.
So, no one else wants to comment?
Are you going to tell us what the actual evaluation said for each dog? (I assume you know!)

I do have official results for #5,6 and 7. I will post them on Monday just in case anyone else wants to respond. Here's a new one to add to the mix:
8) Almost 8 year old bitch, sedated.

I think for 8 YEARS old x-rays look good; right hip could be a bit shallow but for 8 years old, they look good to me. Has this bitch worked all her life? Just curious... Nan

Yes... SchH3 bitch that still rocks a helper hard.
