Nice, yours? He has a gentle, peaceful look in his face.

I consider buying him and would love to hear your honest opinions

In the gaiting video, I'm not entirely happy with the movement in his
near (right) hip; but it is a very short clip, and I have no idea whether
he just started running, or if he'd been on the move for some time.
The photo & video in the middle, showing him in stance, indicates he
is a quality and lively dog. Coat, feet, front & shoulder, expression are
all good. Just wish his handler would stack the back end better. If I
was to be super-critical, I think his head is slightly on the 'lippy' side.
From the pedigree I see he carries Zamp Thermados, not a lot wrong
with having that ! Although he may not have enough 'working lines'
in him to satify the purists ...
How much more do you know about him, Ibrahim ? Have you been to
see him in the flesh ?

Thanks Hundmutter, I haven't seen him in flesh, that is just not possible for me. The owner is trustworthy. His preliminary HD X ray is good, as soon I get the pictures I will post them. The gait clip was made on muddy area and dog was straining on leash. I appreciate taking the time to study the videos.

I'm not a showline person, as you all know. However, he looks like a nice dog, though I do think his rear angulation is a bit extreme/steep, considering I don't see a lot of pressure being put on it by the handler. JMO. Nice face, could be darker, but overall a harmonious looking dog.

Muddy is the wrong word, I should have said wet grass over somewhat soft ground. I appreciate your remark, let's see what others make out of that gaitibg, maybe susie can comment on that, I wish Rik were available too.

Jenni, did you see the 1st video of the stack?
In the video his back is almost level, not as it appears in the picture, croup looks better in video, pls have a look again and tell me what you think about the back and croup please.

What do you think of his shoulder and front reach?

by Jenni78 on 29 January 2014 - 23:01
Ibrahim, overall I like him. I was just choosing what to pick on- he's a showline dog. Of course he has more angulation than I like. He looks best in the video. I really just thought his croup was a bit extreme. His movement looked fine to me, but I'm no expert. Like I said, overall he's harmonious and I like him. I prefer a darker face but I like his straight front and he appears to have nice feet as well.
