Does anyone know if my friend's 27 month old GSD is the youngest to earn a UDT?  Thanks.

Seems like AKC would have those stats?
Pretty amazing accomplishments.

We thought AKC should too, but they charge $120 for each report for each title and the DOB's may not be listed for all. So it would cost $240 for incomplete statistics. The GSDCA doesn't keep those records either...... duh.........

So much for "non-profit" :-/

Nice job!!

I don't think it is a record, though..

I'll dig out some of my old dog books, but I recall reading that this was done by others decades ago..

Heidi's Zook??  comes to mind..  I'll try and find it when I have time..

Its nice to hear about the titles!!
That's no "easy" thing..  utility work requires a real partnership with your dog.

What's next?? OTCH?? UDTX??

keep the updates coming!!

If it's Heidi v Zook UD, whelped in 1964, she's pictured here, was the 1968 GSDCA OB Victrix. Didn't have a TD, that title probably wasn't offered at that time.

This dog has 5 legs for his UDX, an agility title and 2 legs for another. He'll be trialed for his TDX in the spring. He was 2 in June. This is the first GSD with advanced OB titles for his owner.

I should think that the GSDCA should be able to find that out, and it sounds like something they'd want to publicize...maybe contact the OB Committee co-chairs?

Or the Awards Committee Chair?

Their telephone numbers are also posted on the GSDCA website, in the Committee Contacts section.

His owner is a GSDCA member, she has contacted some of the above, not sure which ones. So far no one knows anything LOL. We'll keep trying to find out.
