My female's 26 month old son earned his UD a few months ago and just got the first leg for his UDX last weekend. He also has a TD.

Congratulations the dog and owner!  It is a lot of hard work to achieve those titles!

Fantastic achievement ! Absolute right to be proud.

He has a great owner - that's what it's usually about in this breed. I think many more GSD's are capable of doing more than they do, they don't always get the opportunity.

Congrats on the Titles! Love to see dogs and handlers working together and getting it done!
And anyone who thinks obedience is easy needs to get in the ring.
Good luck with his next titles!

Congratulations, this is MUCH tougher to accomplish than many here would give you credit for.  Are you going for the UDX or TDX?

by Blitzen on 25 September 2013 - 14:09

Thanks, everyone. This dog is very special to me for reasons I won't get into here.

His owner is going to go for both the UDX and the TDX. Meanwhile I am still trying to get his dam ready for her CDX, I am not nearly as good a trainer as she and this is my first attempt at an advanced OB title.

Dang Blitz the dislike fairies are after you today........I gave you a like just to balance it out.....
I am very proud cause I know those are hard titles to obtain. Shoot you're better than me, I can't get past a CD--I bought jumps, tried to train a smart girl for the CDX and it just didn't work out..............surely not the TRAINER's fault? LOL....................

by Blitzen on 25 September 2013 - 15:09

Well I haven't made it past a CD either, so we are in the same boat Teeth Smile. Thanks for the like Rose
