Hello Everyone,
I came across this person trying to sell a Doberman puppy with the ears already cropped. At first, I was very interested in buying him but after looking at his pictures, I decided to get a second opinion. Can anyone tell me if this poor puppy will end up with some bad ears?
Thank You !!!!

Gawd, R, you mean there are TWO kinds of ear crop ?
Or just that it doesn't matter if its a bit rough, if its only
for a pet ?

yes there are two types of ear crops for Dobermans pet quality are usually shorter and fatter easier to stand. show quality are narrower and longer takes more time to post them.

Hundmutter you are correct I should have made that clear from the start most people don't know that there is a difference.

Thank you; no, I never heard or read such a thing.
But then, I'm not well-versed in Dobies, and (being
in the UK) have only seen a few, usually imported,
dogs with cropped ears.
