Im not a showline expert, but I do know quality when I see it.  VERY NICE!!
The one thing that really jumped out at me is he is a little bridged which gives his pastern a weak appearance. JMO.

Hi, picture isn't a big help but a very good type is obvious. Notable good front angulation, Allover a nice specimen, here are few minor comments: Hocks a bit long, pasterns a bit soft, croup a little short and a little steep and withers is flat.Allover a beautiful Showline GSD male of good type and rich pigment.

He's a real looker! I would be interested to see his pedigree. He has beautiful color/pigment!

Hi,
Medium strong dog of good size, which is Sl.elongated with very good type.
He has a very good head and expression but the mask should be darker.
He has a missing right  P1.
Good top line where the croup is Sl. short & Sl. steep.
He has very good Front and Hind Angulations.
Stands strait in front.

Hi Maury,
A dog with a missing (P 1), can only receive the grading of S G.
It does not mean that you cannot  show your dog.
Or your dog will be disqualified.

by joanro on 31 July 2013 - 11:07

Being that the lip is rolled in and must be pulled back to view the lower P1, it would seem presumptive to say this dog is missing P1.

Super handsome!..What is his pedigree?..

Hi Maury'
I totally agree with Joanro ,
it's possible the tooth could be covered by the lower lip.
If so I'm sorry , I just called it as I saw it.

I need to correct my critique, but before I do ,
could you please check if the tooth (P1) is there.

Joanro, thank You for making me aware of a possible error in my comments.

Sonora, you're such a gentleman, I learn from your critiques.
Joanro is always good at making short intelligent remarks.
