Anybody know what the heck's going on in Kentucky?
Just check the results page and there are 20+ dogs that have been pulled and many are top competitors.
Not many scores posted as yet, but something is definitely amiss with that many pulled entries.
Anybody know anything?

Some of the dogs pulled were listed as injured in earlier trials so I guess either they or their handler is still injured or sick.

ask Obama! gas near $4 a gallon in that part of the world, people are afraid to spent money on travel, room, ect. maybe next year.

I do not know why anyone else pulled, other than Terri Short’s dog that broke a toe on Thursday AM.

But for me.

Due to multiple emails and calls to me what was being told to them was my reason (people must be boring or other), I would like to set the gossip aside and correct the impotent on purpose “misinformation” that is being spread about me by "someone" about me pulling both dogs from the AWDF this weekend.

Not sure why this person did not call me and ask directly.

I pulled. That was it. No “story”, no “issue”. I pulled.

I am sorry I am putting a stop to the gossip. Next…

who cares who pulled or why, does it have some earth moving impact on your dog or training?  or just give a reason to gossip?  If gossip is the fulfillment in your life, try and fill it with something else.

Hey, gossiping and commenting on every thread posted is very important to someWink Smile.

zdog.

Agreed.   Gossip is for (fill in the blank) people.  Usually, those not competing or training.

There are a gazillion reason one would have to or decide to pull. In the case I know of, the owner faced a serious illness.

Maybe I´m totally wrong, but I believe the deadline for this event was a couple of weeks before this event.
During this time a lot of things may happen, injury, sickness, private problems, but mostly there are problems during training.

Your "working group" within the States is that small, that the first rumors about any failings would start not more than one minute after anything happened.
People don´t want to blame themselves - it´s better not to start than to fail.

Not here.  Not any of the above. Just pulled.
