Black GSD male, medium size and medium strong, a little stretched but good chest depth, good head of good proportions and good planes but stop isn't well defined. Good strong neck, good high and long withers, long back, good short loin, short and slightly steep croup, good tail and tailset, good hind angulation, good strong hocks, good underline, good pasterns, clean front, good forechest development and good shoulder. A beautiful boy.

Things that notably got better as he matured
Forechest development (improved a lot)
Shoulder angle (front angulation)

Croup angle

Things that did not improve
Stop
Croup length remained short
Back remained long which makes him stretched (though back looks strong to me).

Be still my beating heart.  He is an absolutely beautiful dog.   Definitely solidifies that my next GSD will be a black.  They stop my heart everytime.

He's gorgeous and maturing nicely.  I like him enormously. I am not a big fan of the 'rottweiler stops' that seem to have become popular in some highly placed show dogs in Germany in recent years.

Hi Abby, I agree to the exaggerated stop especially when it causes a dome on the forehead and planes become unparalleled .

Yes Ibrahim.....that's what I am referring to. Even if the planes remain parallel I am not a fan of it at all. Koal's stop is shown best in the first photo.
