Who owns this dog? He has some impressive linebreeding for work in his pedigree.

He is linebred on Mark which in turn has a lot of the well known Lasso de val Sole, one of the best GSDs ever in all aspects including temperament and work ability, his only known fault was his loose pasterns. Mark was well known for producing among other things male type, correct proportions, pigment, mental and physical strength. He was one of the best producers ever.
He is also linebred on Odin who was strong and masculine, also excellent type and proportions, Odin's misfortune was in his laziness and poor movement. From Odin came Jeck which the subject dog is also linebred on, Jeck had beautiful type, expression and angulation, his temperament was sound too. His known fault was what is nowadays called cowhocks.

Thank you, there is a breeder that passed away with many offspring of Bax. I've been asked to help foster & place the dogs.

I remember Bax from Statesville. The only conformation male I've seen at a sieger show who's ears were pinned back all the way through the helper on the long bite. Very impressive performance. Frank had a good eye for dogs. I would expect balanced offspring from him depending on the female. Sorry to hear of Frank's passing.
