Hi all I'm looking for a bit of help. I recently moved from Ireland to Canada and brought my two working line GSD with me. Before I left I got the hips, elbows and DNA done of the female, with an SV registered vet in Ireland and these were sent to Germany for examination. I need to do the same with my male dog who is approaching a year. His hips and elbows are guaranteed by the breeder in Belgium up to noch zw glassen but only under a SV registered vet. I would be grateful if someone could give me information on SV registered vets in Canada, in the Saskatchewan region in particular.

There are no registered SV vets in Canada. On request, Canadian veterinarians can send your dog's x-rays to OFA to get them tested.

If you want your dog's hips and elbows SV certified you have to go through the United Schutzhund clubs of America. The GSSCC has a form for that on their website.
