Oh you are so right the spineless tea baggers wanting to cut social security. Going after old peoples social security seems pretty damn spineless to me. Well the polls say they will be history the next election they find themselves in. Silly, silly little tea spenders.

Meanwhile, Obama is having car troubles and the vote for the extention of the Patriot Act is on the Senate floor.

by SitasMom on 24 May 2011 - 14:05

no not voting to cut social security for old people . . . but delaying getting social security for people that are still many years away from retiring..

please if you're going to spew crap, read the actual recommendations and don't rely on the liberal propaganda.

polls are also skewed - check what the actual basis was before believing the results of the poll - what percentage of democrats, what percent of minorities and what percent of older people....... a true poll will reflect the actual percentages of what our country is made up of......

BabyEagle - too funny!

the actual Rand Paul budget proposal.............

page 42

The projected shortfalls should be addressed in a timely way so that necessary changes can be passed in gradually and workers can be given time to plan for them. Implementing changes sooner will allow the needed revenue increases or benefits reductions to be spread over more generations. Social Security plays a critical role in the lives of 54 million beneficiaries and 155 million covered workers and their families in 2010. With informed discussion, creative thinking, and timely legislative action, present and future Congresses and Presidents can ensure that Social Security continues to protect future generations.

@Sitasmom,

You have no room to talk. You have in the past posted some outrageous stuff and now you are being a hypocrite by telling me not to post something. You really take the cake. You have had 100's of posts removed from this site and you are going to tell someone else what to post and what not to post. I will be laughing all day at you and your silly comments.

BTW, isn't cutting when I qualify for social security the same as an actual cut? If I collect less over my lifetime, then isn't that the same as a damn cut?

Ultra-cons=ultra-losers.
