Chaz Reinhold

by Chaz Reinhold on 18 May 2011 - 22:05

...buy used? I live out in the country and once in a while, people will put out things for sale. I saw a toilet for sale and it made me think. I can get a brand new, decent toilet for around $200. I'll use public restrooms, no problem, but I just don't see why I want someone else's s#!tter in my house. I may get sauced up or sick, and to think that some strangers ass has sat where I want to rest is beyond me. My thrown is my own!--------------------------I also have a sister-in-law that likes to garage sale. I always joke with her and tell her to look for some old underwear.

LOL, never really thought about it in detail, but I agree, never a toilet, never underwear,  nor mattresses (ew).

mattresses.

Don't want someone else jizz and other fluids in my mattress.

Yet we use these things in public. Hotels.

Ace, at hotels, the houskeeping does a good job of cleaning sheets, but rarely do they ever change the blankets. Just sayin'.

Yes we do...not often for me but yup, and I bought a gently used RV and sleep on that mattress and use that toilet. surprise

I can honestly say I"ve never worn anyone else's underwear!

RS: Mattress was the first thing that came to my mind, too! Major YUCK. I won't buy other peoples old pots and pans, either. Stuff that goes in my mouth, generally, LOL  No used bathing suits, either!

You'd be surprised what people will take from the side of the road. We put stuff on the curb and usually by morning it is gone! They took an old washing machine and even some paintings from my college days, LOL I told my DH someday I'll see them on the Antigues Roadshow!

The washer went because it is metal. I put stuff out at the curb and it usually goes quick. When I stuck my old wife out there the farmers brought me baskets of veggies in exchange. I asked, "didn't you see the free sign?"

Chaz......I agree that is why I really don't stay in hotels unless it for work.
