My sister believes in Orbs and claim they follow her around. She sent a picture of herself a few years ago with a big orange dot next to her head and said it was an Orb. What the heck is an Orb? Alien beings? Or what? I asked my sister several times but she never really had an answer.

I always thought that orbs were spirits or beings from beyond the living here on earth. If you watch that program, Ghost Hunters, they are always talking about and pointing out orbs that they capture on camera with filming about haunted places. Some look like little specs of white not necessarily in any particular shape. Some kinda look like very pale cotton balls. Some are larger without a definite shape or form. I don't believe they are alien beings such as things from outer space. LOL. Yes I do believe in spirits, but only in good spirits. I just don't believe that evil spirits exist. Maybe they do but I just don't believe in the evil ones. JMO

For a long while I thought all these Orbs people were talking about was just dust particals floating around when the picture was snapped. I guess because I usually work in dusty barns and conditions most the time. I have alot of pictures of me in barns working that my son took when he was old enough to operate a camara and upload them to the PC by himself.
When I finally decided to review all his pictures he took over a period of time, I noticed something odd, some of the dust particles looked identicle in every picture they were in. (especially the larger particles... they just looked the same) Anyhows my son named all these larger dust particles because they showed up in almost all the pictures with baby like particles near them. He categorized the pictures by the names of the larger dust particles basically. Still I thought nothing other than dust particles floating around and my son having some brainy idea how to group the pictures. He named them after my plants.
Then one day .. (lol) my son and I were trail riding on the Appalachian and a storm decided to roll in, absolutely no warning what so ever. It got dark fast in the woods, lightening, rolling thunder the whole nine yards. We had no time to pitch the tent or corral the horses, we had to keep the horses calm and stand it out was pretty much are only option. We were stopped for the moment deciding what we were gonna finally do and to get our rain gear on.
All of a sudden my son yelled and pointed Mom there's Sweet Pea the dust particle. I was like HUH, my horse all of a sudden freakin out, I couldn't steady my horse with this huge crazy dust particle buzzing around in a frenzy. I had to dismount to get a good look at what we was seeing. It was one of those moments when you thought about the twilight zone. Every hair on my body stood up. LOL
So, there we are looking at this huge so called dust particle that finally calmed down after I dismounted. It was almost like the dust particle was communicating with my horse for some reason, because when I dismounted both my horse and the dust particle calmed down. My sons horse was calm the whole time, so at that point I didn't know why my horse along with the dust particle was freakin out to begin with. I know my horse and he definately wanted me on the ground for no apparent reason, he's not storm shy.
So we all (lol) slowly just moved along down the trail following this dust particle because it was going the same way we are (me walking my horse) waiting for the down pour and wouldn't ya know .. lightening struck a tree way off to our right and that tree top went up in the air, flew over our way and came crashing down about the same area we all were just standing minutes before.
Sooooo, there is no doubt in my mind these are just simple dust particles anymore cought on camera. There is no way, they have blue and yellow tracers when they move. These Orbs I think are some sort of spirit and they would almost have to be local spirits that follow people around and be known when they want to be known kinda thing.
If I had to guess what kinda spirit or Orb this Sweet Pea is, I would say a horse. I don't understand why it didn't communicate with my sons horse though.. because after I dismounted, I studied the horses and they both were calmly watching this Sweet Pea with the same amazement as my son and I. I know Sweet Pea dissappeared when the rain came pouring down .. so they don't like heavy rain.
If I was at home on the main PC I'd post a picture of Sweet Pea, but I'll have to do that later. I can't discuss the twilight zone, near Jesus moment and Sweet Pea without showing a picture of Sweet Pea. LOL

Baby Eagle, thanks for sharing the story about Sweet Pea. Very interesting. I'd love to see a photo of Sweet Pea if you have a chance to post it.
