Anyone have any comments on today's protection work?
Who did well?

Actually the dog on show grounds thing is a catch 22. If the dog is not entered. It's not subject to the rules is it? No one signed a form to be subject to the rules. It's really a stupid position to try and argue.

VA1 Nino Tronje

Results are up on the site now. Sitasmom - Elle Rallhaus got V9 I see... Congrats. :)

Can someone explain the meanings of the performance numbers? I understand that 5.5 is perfect, but some are 4.3 or 3.3 or 4.5, etc.

by Richard Medlen on 19 May 2014 - 01:05

Zastin Equidius finished last  in the Working Class Males and was awarded a V-17. There were 7 VAs and 17 Vs.  Nino v. Tronje, of course, was clearly the Sieger and his son, Pascha v. Modithor, showed much of the same class his father exhibited and was awarded VA-5. Pato di Zenevredo edged out Chacco v.d. Freiheit Westerholt very late in the final gating to earn VA-2 and become Vice Sieger.

Zastin and Nino were the only two males to receive prestigious 5.5 performance ratings.

It was a great show but I thought the number of spectators in attendance was sorely disappointing considering the importance these breed events really are for the future of our beloved breed.
