Here go's, My best guess :)

1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, Good to fair....depending on who's reading them when you turn them in.

2. Fair hard to see due to lack of contrast.

4.  I'm betting this dog went fair with repositioning....look at the knee's.

All elbows normal.

Here is the scoop on the x-rays:

1-4) Never sent in for official evaluation.  #4 was determined by the veterinarian to be severely dysplastic.  You can see the thickening of the femoral necks, especially on the right side, in addition to the subluxation.  This dog was already showing lameness at 7 months old.  #3 would look better if the pelvis was lying flat and not twisted up on the right side.  1 & 2 are being raised for IPO and will have x-rays repeated after 1 year of age.  #3 is currently working in narcotics detection with a K9 unit.

5 & 7)  These are x-rays of the same dog, taken a year and a half apart.  The dog was a working police canine in the interim.  X-rays were submitted to OFA at 3 years of age.  Hips - OFA Good, Elbows - Normal

6)  This bitch was being raised for IPO.  Hips - OFA Fair, Elbows - Grade 2 unilateral dysplasia (right).  Bitch has never showed any lameness.

8)  This bitch was rated as SV Fast-normal as a one year old.  Out of curiosity, we had the new x-ray taken when she went in to be spayed.

A couple of interesting things to note:

7 & 8 are the sire and dam of 1 & 2.  8's littermates are all rated SV Normal and every dog in three generations are rated SV Normal, yet she has produced at least two NZ pups with a proven good hip producer.

Thanks for the input on the x-rays!
