I didn't realize that simply "talking about" non-IPO titles could garner "dislikes" here.  Funny, just like in the earlier RH thread, basically some feel if its not an IPO 1-3 you haven't really "earned" a title at all.  Imagine if you had tried to articulate the positive aspects of the title or how it is different from SchH, you'd be dead and buried already, all you did at this point was put a short "shout out" about an accomplishment.

LOL, amazing isn't it?  They diminish a 2 year old dog's earning a UDT yet post videos all over the net bragging about things like a  3 year old finally getting a BH. Go figure.......

Congrats to your girl's son & handler, Blitzen, and compliments to you and your girl--is he entered in the Nationals events next month?  Like your avie, too, BTW--noticed you worked your way into it, putting the biking long-shot pic in yesterday and now we finally get to see her beautiful head!  I concur--most every GSD can achieve these things, if they are fortunate enough to land in the hands of a good trainer & handler.  I'm an awful handler because I have the grace and agility of a three-legged hippo in a land of hills and dales. So much respect to anyone who can not only TRAIN their dog to these levels, but who can also HANDLE the dog in the trials adequately enough for the dog's abilities to earn it the titles.

Yeah, the dislike dopes are out in force....I got two just for complementing you. Oh well, guess they don't have anything good going in their lives, so they are bitter and pitiful.
But AKC titles or not, I bet the dislike dopes can't do it, LOL.

by Blitzen on 25 September 2013 - 20:09

Yes, he's entered at the NS. Hexe. Thanks for asking. I've had some avatar problems, tried to change it, can't do it and then a few days later there's a different one. The current one should be a long shot of a dog next to a bike- is that what you see now? The head shot was the Urma of my 3rd GSD that passed away 2 years ago.

Since my dog is an ASL AKC CH some here don't think she or her progeny are worth too much, but I love them anyway Wink Smile.

Blitzen, the ones not worth too much are dopes dissing your posts.....so it's good that they have an outlet for their ineptitude.

I'm sorta getting to like the attention, Joanro. Makes me feel special.

Ah, well...Bev's just a lovely as her great-great grandmama . Heart

Your avie is back to the longshot of the AD work. Regular Smile

Thanks, Hexe. I've been very lucky with my last 2 GSD's. One was trained and had her Sch3, UD, agility titles when I gave her a retirement home. My current dog was an AKC CH with her BH when I got her after she had just weaned the litter the UD dog came from. Her owner could no longer keep her, she needed a home and I needed a dog. I wasn't interested in breeding, she had already had 2 litters and she's spayed now so it worked out perfectly.. I'd recommend mature, already trained dogs to anyone. Beats housebreaking and training a puppy (as  you know too) Teeth Smile.

Congratulations Blitzen :)
I admit..I didn't know what a UD title was, so I looked it up.......Sounds like it is a hard one to achieve...Cudo's to your grand puppy and his handler for a job well done Clown.
