Having had rescue mix breeds all my life, professionally training since 2012 (using modern methods for obedience, behaviour modification, etc) have finally decided on the breed. I love the malinois drive (have worked with a few client dogs), and the fact that they have a soft side. I am looking for a puppy to do search and rescue, competitive obedience, possibly agility in the future.
However, I want to do my research and speak to a few breeders maybe even visit them before choosing a puppy. Any advice on who I should get in touch with?
Many thanks!

I am no expert for Mals, but wherever you want to go - ask for proof of working abilities of the ancestors, don´t believe in tell tales.
At least I don´t believe anybody telling me any "stories" about their dogs, I want to see results.
Even for agility, SAR, or obedience, your pup will need some drive and temperament to be able to compete on a higher level...

Kezija Stanko! He's from Novi Sad, Serbia. You can look him up on Facebook and see his dogs and contact him. Tell him Briana from Texas sent you and he can give you a FABULOUS working dog!! Not sure if ur looking for a puppy or fully trained dog, but he's training one for me personally. He's AWESOME!!!! Very reputable! Contact him and see what he has to your liking :) And yes, his dogs are FCI certified.

I watched Vion Maschera di Ferro weekly during training. A member of our club got a Mali from there. She said they breed the high drives like Vion and also more moderate ones. Email John Soares in New Jersey. He owns Vion and may be able to point you to the right breeding then hold on.
