Malinois puppy colour - Page 1

Hi guys! My partner and I will be getting our first Malinois puppy in the coming weeks but wanted to ask about colour. There are 2 females we are choosing from, one has a dark head and feet but a ligher body and the other, the smallest has a dark face, legs and a dark shading over her body. Should I assume that the pup with the dark shading will keep that darkness over her body whereas her sister wont or is there a possibily that darker one could lighten up just like her bigger sister?

The dark shading will stay on the one pup.  It may get darker as the bitch gets older.  The other may develop some shading, but usually if they don't have it as a pup, they won't as an adult.  Here is a picture of my male at 6 months old and then again at 2 years.  You can see how much darker he got as he matured.
