Lol. Maybe check out a schH club near you, maybe they have a trainer who will help you.

If there is no one to help you train your best bet will be to try out someof these vidoes.  But if you hoping to train for IPO/Schutzhund sooner or later you're gonna need a helper. Most people have a travle at leat and hur ro two if fine a IPO club, maybe start looking a littler harder, or maybe try and find a friendly police dog handler who is interested in working with dogs.

Best of luck.

..."find a friendly police dog handler who ls interested in working with dogs" ? Lol
It'd be more productive to find an AKC training club to join.

Like Joan said, find a training club of some sort, forget the police dog handler.

11daniel3.  Forget what Joanro and Hired Dog said.  It's different

in America.  There are many Police Dog Handlers in the UK who

might well offer to help you.  However, it is less likely to be within

the IPO(Schutzhund) discipline/sport, than it is in the Trials side of

training.  Nonetheless, you may find handlers happy to help you

with bitework and tracking, although they might want a little time to

check you out first !

There are IPO training clubs in the UK, many are part and parcel of

general GSD Clubs (regional/area based, or otherwise), who may be

better known for KC Obedience, or Shows / Ringcraft, but will often have

the working side too, or have links with these.  It IS difficult in some parts

of the UK, but should not be impossible.  Not sure about Mali clubs, but

the GSD ones will almost certainly still help.

If you tell us where you are, maybe I can help you locate someone.

If you don't want to post your location publicly on here, send me a

Personal Message - use the button with the person-shape, top &

furthest right:  click on User Search, 2nd in drop-down menu, OR

click directly on my screen name in this post, and take it from there.

HM, if the op was in the USA the advice by HD and me is very appropriate. So, anyone else in the same situation, in the USA, pay heed. :-)
