8 week old wl male...any guesses as to how he'll mature? What do you conformation experts think of him now?

Is he that bad? Shall I get the big needle out?

Put your knitting needle away; he looks nice right now.  It's anyone's guess how he'll turn out.

LMAO, Keith. Knitting needle? What do you think I am, your age?

I'm just curious...I didn't breed him, no hurt feelings involved if someone doesn't like him.

Only because you can take it I will give you my very uneducated crtique..lol,,,He looks a little tall and square. I prefer gentle sloping behind.,,His top line looks sturdy and strong..His tail might be a little short..Nice tight feet..Nice tight muzzle,,Looks well balanced..cute little pup///:)

"LMAO, Keith. Knitting needle? What do you think I am, your age?"

You said, "big needle," so I naturally assumed...

His tail was wagging and part of it isn't in view, Deanna.

I'm glad you say tall and square, actually, lol. When I looked at their pup pics I was worried they were too long with short legs, which I don't like. I was just thinking looking at him that maybe he is going to have enough leg after all. Short legs are so hard to breed out of a line and I hate that stretch limo look on a GSD. His movement is beautiful! I should try to get a vid. I should also try to stack him...but not sure I'm that ambitious. ;-)

I like his lower jaw very well so far, he has great movement like I said, and is an attractive pup over all, imo. Very nice temperament.  Not sure if I'm selling him or not.

High quality food, plenty of daily exercise, and a secure and challenging environment to grow up in .. that will determine to a large part how he turns out mentally and physically.  An eight week old puppy is all potential that's waiting to be fulfilled.

I'm not looking for puppy-raising pointers, but thanks for responding. He's fine mentally, anyway, or he wouldn't be here. I just was wondering others' opinions on his overall conformation at this age.
