Hello Everyone,
I'm finally in the market for a Mal pup. I'm hoping to pick up a male in the near future. With that said, I was hoping you all could point me in the direction of some great breeders within the States, preferably near Texas.
What I'm looking for:
I'm going to be interested in a versitle dog. My main goal is flyball and agility. I will be doing obiedance as well. Of course I will also be doing some bite work and hopefully use my dog within the Coast Guard as my fellow shipmate pending the extensive paperwork.
Thank you everyone

If your desire that the breeder be in TX is so you can see the mother of the litter (keep in mind the sire may not be on the premises) that makes sense. If it's mainly though for transportation of the pup, I would recommend not limiting it to TX. Shipping a pup is about 200.00, depending on the from/to, a fairly minor cost in the grand scheme of things if it means you can widen your search to other area. The perfect pup might be in Maine :-)
What sort of job would the dog be doing with the Coast Guard? Just curious.
I have two litters coming up, you can check out the listings here,

You are correct. I wanted it in the general area of Texas (maybe a state away) to see the parent(s) if possible. I'd also like to meet the breeder in person while looking at the facilities. I don't mind traveling for a long distance for the right dog. I also totally agree that traveling expenses are the least of my worrys.
Within the Coast Guard there are a few opporitunties simular to other branches. Drugs and guard work being the most prevelant. Since I'm on a Air Force base that does K9 Military Police work, I may be able to venture in other avenues pending the qualifications.
I will look into your website.
Thank you
