Anyone have any guidence when importing a pup. After being picking up the pup I figure I would need to go to the Vet, and keep it away from other dogs until the dog has a clean bill of health.

No different than flying in any other pup. The import just had a longer trip, generally.
Never had a problem with any of ours.
I do know breeders that have had problems with canine herpes from certain areas in dogs they have brought in, but you won't see that in a pup being shipped.

Do they feed or give water to the pups ?

Depends on the airline, but they are supposed to every few hours. When we arrived at the airport to pick up my last pup from France, the airport personnel had already taken the little guy out to potty.  I thought that was really nice of them.

I don't know about most airlines but if your pet goes with Lufthansa out of Frankfurt,Germany they have a animal lounge where the pet is cared for and calmed down as much as possible before its put on the plane. And if time permits ( meaning that there's not alot of cargo/animals on the plane ) in Detroit they will take the dog potty and give it a snack and water while your going through the customs ordeal. If everything works out we will have a Shepherd coming over on the 30th.

What Vaccinations do pups need to travel to the US? The pup will be 10 weeks old. Just looking to see what I need to get done at the vet.

None, unless he is of age for rabies, which he is not. He may still get hung up in customs if you get a real idiot for an agent. It happened to one of mine I brought in, think he was about the same age and they refused to release him because he had not had a rabies yet. We got a real agent who knew what they were doing, but it took many hours to get it straightened out.

We are looking to bring in another one next year, so I can't wait to see how much fun that will be.....not.......
