I have a Dylan' son, Iras perle de tourbière. Is in french ring 3 and have a very strong caracter.
I like this kennel because, Ian is working with consanguinity, so i found old dogs caracter (Xjellaba, Othar).
I'm breeder too, and i'm working with a lot Perle de tourbière blood line.

May I ask you, from what combination do you want to choose?

Now I KNOW FOR A FACT that your Perle de Tourbiere line is DM CLEAR!
Mena B. P. Belgian have those line & tested them for DM & they came up clear!
I would stick with the lines that are "proven".
Send your pup to a trainer or send you wife to group class but keep the Perle de Tourbiere lines.
Just mu thoughts on the Perle de Tourbiere bloodlines if your going to be keeping them for the long haul or breeding
You can test your dog for 65.00 with DDC or OFA for DM, it is great piece of mind :)

I have a Dylan pup (Perle de Tourbiere) from an Arrack's home female (Hilie du Valdorp). Lots of strong KNPV dogs in her bloodline. She is very handler oriented, quick to learn, super tug and ball drive. Fast, strong, and smart. She is wary of strangers, neither aggressive nor friendly (nuetral), but quick to warm up with proper introduction. If we had KNPV in this country she'd excel. She is in training for detection. Why not get the best of both worlds and get a pup from both lines? Is there problem with mixing the two?

I have to make a hard choice in the next couple weeks since I was going to get 2 FCI malinois female pups..now with a baby on the way I have to make a tough choice and choose 1 since 2 puppies will be too much for my wife while I work. |
You need to chose between the pup and the baby. At least for a while I think. Let the baby get a little bigger so you are not killing your wifes "own a dog" drive ! ! ! !
It has been my experience that a lot of people suddenly find out that they have no time for the pup after the baby is born.
I am not saying do not get a dog, but it is better for everyone when you wait a little bit and see.
