Of all the Malinois I can think of, Dusty is one I like the
most to put a good mind on a bloodline. However he
seems to be somehow have been used exclusively in FR Ring and
I don't know why that is. Eik DP2 is used alot in Dutch and NVBK
Eik is easy to breed into with out causing wide swings in any one
direction, just an over all improvement. But Eik to produces a good
mind like Dusty. I want to know if anyone has had good or bad
result in the past breeding to Dusty's bloodline. Claude Reggazoni
owned Dusty.

I've met quite a few dogs with Dusty up close in the pedigree, owned a few to, but don't think I've met any that were linebred on him. I know a lot of the du Guindeau dogs have him closer up in the pedigree. I have liked those dogs, at least the ones I've seen, medium sized, fast, biddable, athletic, very handler oriented, nice competition dogs. And with a long career, they appear to have good longevity. I'm a big fan of his mother Bea though in terms of producing, I've never seen any video or anything of her, but that was one heck of a female in terms of production. A bunch of FRIIIs, multiple offspring in the Coupe, more in the Selectifs.

Malndobe,
I think I went to far back to for most people to give much help on this
question. I feel it is something that needs a closer look. Perhaps a better question
is does any body have information on Haxo, or Hitee, Dusty offspring. They are producing
very well. I think dogs like Dusty and Duc were very good producers, but they may have been
not used because they also produce some long hairs in there litter. This was not unusual back
than, so I am still a little puzzled. Both were top sires in my book.

I know that Dusty was a half brother to Elgos coming from Atos and G'Bibber some say that those two dogs produced nothing less than producers and superb working characteristics. G'Bang de la Virginie was one of those he is in pedigrees everywhere from French Ring dogs to many KNPV dogs. I think that you have to include dogs in this list like, Kukay's Quatro, Arco, Bronco and Eik.
I know that Elgos was slow on the long bite but he was not used for his speed but his insane grip and very clear head. I would love to have a one on one with the owner of him to really get a clear picture painted of his attributes. There is so much information out there on him and who is to say what is correct. I myself prefer KNPV dogs and am a huge fan of what Jan is doing with the Perle de Tourbiere Kennel.
There is also much said about Master. I saw him work at the DVG Nationals last summer in Colorado he is fantastic but some of his progeney seem to look a bit small with kind of a bitchy face, this is all taken from pics that I have seen. I know that pics don't show everything I would like to hear if anyone has seen any pups from master close up in person?
There are so many nice Malinois that have existed and still do, but how long is it going to be before the Sheppard people that have demolished that breed find there way over and start producing total crap and run the Malinois into the ground. What breed will be next? I know that there are a ton of breeders that are trying really hard to keep the sheppard up to par but there are many more that are just breeding to breed $$$$$$.

I own a Master son. He is 60 lbs at 2 years of age. I love his size, but that's just me. His dam is on the smaller side too. His head is not as broad as I like, but it has become more masculine as he's gotten older. Here are some pics of him:

The pics towards the top are from around 10 months of age. The more recent pics are at the bottom.
Debbie Skinner in CA used Master as a stud. The male from her first litter is a larger dog - 70+ lbs at 16 months of age. She had a second litter with Master as well, but I don't know how large they are. They're still quite young - a year old this upcoming June.

K9riot,
I like MJ's breeding, the thing about Master that allot people don't
realize is he is the Sugar Ray Leonard of Malinois. You may think he looks
bitchy until you pick him up. He is a heavy dog with rock hard muscle. His
Nickname should be Sugar Ray. This is a very good dog, but you can not tell
how he will produce, it is too soon to tell. But the good thing is Stoned, and Yargus
are both good producers. I really like Master's mothers pedigree and her looks.
I think Master nailed down the best of both his father and mother.
You sound happy with MJ, I would not be surprised if he fills out later, some times
their metabolism is so high when they are growing up it keeps there weight, way
down. They also go through some weird stages, that they will out grow.
