Breeder / Trainer / Competitor ? - Page 1

Does anyone know of a person invovled with Belgian Malinois by the name of Hakim Stubbs? He is from southern Virginia / the Newport News area and is supposedly a trainer and breeder. I was told he was involved, in some way, with the Michael Vick dogs.

Animal Control seized dogs from his home in Newport News, including a female Belgian Malinois by the name of Diamond, but identified at the shelter as both Diamond and Maley. He was breeding her to a male Malinois he had, and must have either bought her with training or trained/worked her, as she was fully trained in protection work (deep, nice bites, some issues on the "out", loads of working drive / toy drive / prey drive). She has no tattoo and Animal Control did not seize any paperwork on her.

Curious if anyone here knows of this person and his dogs? Or can point me in the right direction? Don't care to learn much about Mr. Stubbs but would like to learn more about the dogs, especially the female Malinois.

Just a question,,why would you want any involvement with the problems of Michael Vick?

I don't give a rat's behind about Michael Vick or any of the lowlifes who worked for him or trained dogs for him. The only thing I am interested in is finding out more about my dog's background. It is obvious that someone cared enough about her to put a fair amount of training into her, because she does wonderful protection work. Maybe this lowlife bought her already trained. I don't know. I have no way of finding out unless someone knows this person, knows who sold him the dog, or knows the dog.

I've tried Google (that's kind of the obvious place to start) and nothing came up but the guy's Facebook and his Twitter (his user name there is "correctadog"). I also looked up the court cases against him in the local court where the dogs were seized, and he has a bunch for animal abuse, neglect, not paying vet fees, etc. etc. etc. Nice long list, too.
