Normally all tattoos are registered in Kennel clubs so if you know the origin of the dog, you should try to call the kennel club of the country and perhaphs they might give you the info you seek.

If the dog is AKC registered, they do not track tattoos and you would have to know specifically who the breeder was. Example, I tattoo(vet actually does it) all my puppies with a unique alpha-numeric identifier, but the AKC does not give a hoot that I do this. You would have to know I was the breeder, and I could identify the dog for you.

Every Kennel uses a unique code for their pups tats. It is usually a series of specific letters and numbers, but unless you know each kennels format or the numbers and letters they use it is very diffcult to determine where the dog came from. Maybe someone will recognise the tattoo number you gave above and hopefully be able to identify the dog for you. I wish you luck! Sorry we could not be more help!

Here in the Netherlands tattoos and chip are done by the kennel club thus they can always be traced.

if you are a member of SCHUTZHUND USA and plan or registering a kennel name and litters they will give to you a Tattoo sequence that you may use --
