My friend is looking for a Malinois and he is having a harder time finding what he is looking for. He found a lady that has nice dogs but at the same time seems very odd about her dogs and such but did reccomend some lines like Atos. He was also looking into Groenendaels with lines like Taboo and Salte Cabre.

He is looking for a dog that would make a happy pet, but one that would be able to do light bite work and possibly into rally obedience. This will be his first dog, and yes he's done a lot of research and I will be buy his side when we gets the dog, finds breeders, and for training. I am also looking for a dog but I know I want working lines and will be working into Schutzhund/Mondio and have narrowed down breeders.

If anyone knows of any breeders that breed a lower drive dog but still has some drive to get say a BH? Groenendael breeders that don't do 100% confirmation would be a nice find as well. We've looked around a lot and there is 1 lady with working Groenendaels in California but if there are any others in the USA or Ontario or anyone that has upcoming litters we'de love to know.

Thanks.

Have you ever herd of Ted Vande Woude from NC?  I have two dutchies from him that are amazing.  I dont know what he has left but he has pups on the ground now out of Atos Casa de Mandigo's.  I have a female from the litter and she is insane.  I cant recall if he has any registred or not but it would be worth a shot to call him and ask.  his number is 704-907-8993.  He can give you more info on what he has avalible.  I definetly would call him and see, and If he doesnt have anything he can lead you in the right direction perhaps!

I have a litter on the ground right now. They are from serious Belgian lines, and NVBK registered. There are 5 females left to choose from. Of the five, a couple are fairly laid back pups. If your friend is still looking, feel free to email me for pics and more information.

I've found that laid back doesn’t necessarily equate when they mature. My female was a diamond in the rough and just need the right guidance and became a dynamo... she's from very old hard core working lines.
