Rudy vom TriState

by Rudy vom TriState on 30 January 2009 - 03:01

I am the handler of a five year old malinois at a police department in Virginia. Only papers I have say his name is Rudy vom TriState and a tattoo (I dont have right this second, but can get) in his right ear.I love this dog and must say he is a fantastic police dog. Im only interested in learning more of his heritage as I was told he is second gen. police dog.Frankly,I know nothing about his pedigree or any of this....any help appreciated in figuring it out or learning more about him. Will be posting pics. soon.

Ulani van Joefarm produced a few litters under the name Vom Tristate. Ulani was a police dog! aka Nitro.

Hope this helps.

If your dog is from Ulani van Joefarm aka Nitro, who has resided with Cindy Rhodes during his later years, he is probably a littermate to my dog, Army. Is Rudy his call name?

Brett who was Nitro's handler was a K9 handler with Miami Twp. in Ohio. We've been friends with Brett for a long time and boarded Nitro on several occasions. Brett had one litter that he whelped under the vom Tristate kennel name. It was his "A" litter. He did breed Nitro to outside females.

We knew this dog from the time he was imported and most of his life. He was a fantastic dog. (I think the same of my Nitro son)

My dog's dam is Faye Airport Hanover. You can look all these dogs up, here or on working-dogs.eu or google all these kennel names.

The papers I have are from Clermont Animal Hospital in Ohio. The name Arnold is scratched out and Rudy Vom TriState written above it.I will be posting pictures in the next day or so of him.Would just like to get him registered or find if he already is.The resemblance to a dog on this website named Airus vom TriState is striking although Airus is darker.

Yes, your dog is the littermate to my dog, Army. We tatooed this litter for Brett.

PM me, and I'll send what contact information that I have for Brett.

As you probably already notice by the DOB, Airus vom TriState is not your dog's littermate. Brett bred to a female in W.VA a couple of times that was a really good match for Nitro, from my understanding. She was not reg. and that's probably where Airus came from. He or the owner of the female, may have tagged on a kennel name... tristate for general purposes.
