Anyone know anything about this breeder? Are they still breeding? Their website doesn't work.... Thanks

I was just there and it appeared to be working. Its Waleed Maaloufs site. I have one of his dogs, she is a great dog.

I don't know these folks personally, but I do know that they have some of the best breeding stock of FR /BR mals in the US.

I found Waleed when I was looking into where to get my next working dog from - less than a month ago. He spent quite a bit of time on the phone with me. Seemed like a real standup guy.
Spoke well of his fellow breeders and factually pointed out differences in what he values over what they value in their breeding programs.
He had a 12 week old male at the time who sounded like a good fit for me. For reasons primarily related to timing of bringing a new dog into my life, I decided to wait and go with a litter from Michael Ellis' kennel, which will be ready in the fall. I know Michael and I know that he knows dogs and Malinois lines quite well and he spoke very highly of Waleed. The two of them trained together when Michael was living in New York.
Rodin is the sire that Waleed is primarily using and I believe Rodin has produced incredibly well.
I have not personally seen dogs from Barriques but based on what I have heard, Waleed seems to be among the top working Malinois breeders in North America.

Waleed moved to Florida. Rodin is in CA. You can contact Waleed on Facebook. He's a very good guy and bred some very nice dogs.
