Found this topic very interesting.  I always thought that Tervueren was a different breed altogether. I actually have 2 BMs, the female and older one is red fawn.  The younger 7 month old male is black sable, instantly fell in love with his color when I visited the breeder based somewhere in Bulacan, Philippines.

I plan to mate them next year, lets see how it goes. :-)

I have several "Tervs" out of Mals out in the world. I have a one year old female now we just put up for sale since she finished her initial training. And she has drive out the ears. Yes, lots of people like them because they have the Terv look and Mal drive. I suspect my French import will also throw Tervs since they are in his background. It is kinda fun going through pups to figure out which ones will be "fuzzy". I have a friend in KS who pops out Tervs from her Mals too. It just happens.

Here is a "terv" pup out of "Mal" parents from one of my litters.

And another one. I think they are adorable :) Even if they are kind of 'odd' in a litter of short haired pups.
