Hans Pegge is a very good maybe the most famous KNPV handler in Holland will not say he has the best KNPV malinois
in Holland a mistake what many people make. In Holland and I believe Germany Belgium
Czech ,Russia and some other counties are very good kennels but maybe not a so FAMOUS
handlers but have good quality dogs. A world class handler will not automatic say produce worldclass dogs.
Have owned some malinois Pegge bloodlines I,m know where I,m talking about.

Over the last 18 years I have had many dogs from the bloodlines of Hans.
I never said other kennels did not have good dogs. I only made a suggestion to the lady's question.
Hans' dogs are sought after all around the world and there is a reason for that. And he is not a breeder who selects his dogs by color....
And never did I say that a world class handler will automatic produce world class dogs.
Seems to be a JEALOUSY ISSUE here.
But in the end "the proof is in the pudding"

The only and most of part the reason buy Pegge dogs I live in the Netherlands
is the famous name same as Bert lamers Berry II , There are many many many litters from this people what they show are only the top I have seen many many Pegge dogs
bloodlines and on the suit as decoy so I know a litle bit where I,m talking about.
Than we see a PH 1 champion make a litter with every crappy female who is
on the money because the pups from a famous daddy sell better etc , etc.
You can discuss for days about what real quality is everbody has his own view about that. A lot of dogs who are not good enough for the KNPV go to Hans Pegge Policedogs company and he sell them around the world..
Jealous about Pegge why , I talk only about my experience and maybe it is helpfull
If people wanna buy 10000 dogs/pups by Hans Pegge be my guest I wish Hans all the best with his business I hope he wanna be a millionaire .
Good luck

Not sure there are any left! Its turned into a money game (sucker in the dumb Americans) originally only wanted "big boned" dogs. Ruins the breed. My family is from Munchen and my last trip I searched high & low with no luck. In the '70's I bought a pup, heir to World Sieger Dick vom Adeloga. I trained and bred for 15 yrs. In those days few police depts. used dogs. I'm trying to find heir to my male from 1980. Good Luck!

Back to the topic...
I have bought many dogs from Hans over the years and when I bought one that wasn't what I wanted ( even months later), I took it back to him, and showed him the problem and he gave me a replacement that fit my needs.
One thing I can say about Hans is, whenever I asked him about another trainer or a dog from another person, he never had a bad word to say about them. To me that says a lot about character.
