Description
After I had lost my first dog, a mongrel Leo, I decided that my next dog was going to be a pure-bred. I love shepherds and I particularly like big and dark dogs, so I started to look for my perfect four-legged companion. Just one glance at a beauceron photo was enough to make my decision final! That was the choice!
Many people warned me that this is not a breed for a novice. That this is a breed which requires a firm and consistent training and an experienced masters. Nevertheless, my decision was made and I started my search for a female beauceron.
I didn’t know much about breeding lines and other important things which one must take into consideration when selecting a puppy, so I spent months learning and researching available information, pestering constantly my good friend who knows a lot about the breed and has a beauceron herself. Finally, I found a kennel from which I decided to take my future friend.
A new litter of puppies was available at that kennel shortly, and after seven weeks I went there to finally meet my Ginger. The adventure entitled ‘Life with a beauceron’ began.
I realised quite quickly that my puppy Ginger was becoming a beautiful dog, a true representative of the breed. Puppies bred from her could surely become as beautiful as she is! So, I registered my own kennel. And here I am, at another beginning, full of enthusiasm, whishing very much to breed new top dogs who will take your breath away with their looks, and who will, at the same time, be faithful companions and guardians to their owners.
