Just wanting to know if he is throwing himself into his pups? As I was looking at the dogs competing in WUSV this year I noticed Mike the same kennel as hank had several progeny competing too. Whats your toughts? Thanks

From what I,m hearing some seem to like whats comming out of Hank,hopefully someone will say what they think that own a pup out of him.

Talked to a few old timers from Europe at 2013 WUSV, that thought that Hank was more training than genetics.....time will tell.

This is something a lot of new people in the sport, plus a lot of "fad" followers don't think about or know any better to think about. There are some AWESOME trainers that could take a dog that 95% of the population would toss, and do very well with them. Not saying this is the deal with Hank or any other dog, but points don't mean everything. Just for example...the most awesome dog I have ever seen "genetically", and of course for my own style of dog that I like, is owned by a first time handler. No one knows who this dog or who this owner is yet...I believe you will eventually b/c he is doing very well with his dog.

So is the gist that Hank's genetics are not that good but that he has been trained to the point of being the BSP and 2X WUSV champion on the strength of his training?

WOW I am impressed, who is that owner/trainer?? Do they have any video's while training to pass on to use green horns? That has to be some trainer... great days everyone, Nan

not sure what you mean nans...my point is that it isn't just the dog. it is training also. what if hank was joe bloe's dog? would we see him at the wusv? what if helmut owned the dog I was speaking of in my previous post...yes..we most likely would see him at the WUSV...I am not bashing Hank...obviously the dog is awesome....so is Helmut's training...complimenting both...duh...
