I'm looking for some feedback with some issues I am having with my malinois puppy. She was sent to me at 9 weeks of age, and upon her arrival noticed that she peed everytime she met someone new or got really excited to see me. I have never had a dog of my own do this before, but I figured with her being young and over excited upon meeting people that if I worked with her she would outgrow it. I have used food and toys to distract her and get her focused in situations where she would pee. Like all puppies I have taken her out and exposed her to new people, sights and sounds. However, at 18 weeks I am not seeing much for improvement, and infact the bigger she gets, the more of a problem its becoming. I am also seeing a lot of nerve issues with her; everytime she sees another dog her hair goes up or she barks, and the same now with people. I had intended to train her for protection. Her bitework and obedience had been coming along nicely, although i've gotten to the point that im not really sure if it's even worth continuing her training. Im just looking to get others opinions on what they would do with a dog like this.

Have you checked her with a vet? The peeing could be a urinary problem.
And I'd suggest working on her confidence it should make her less of a scaredy cat.

Sounds like you need to lighten up with her, play retrieve and tug games where she can win and jump up to you to continue the game, she won't pee when she is in the mood for a game.  If she reacts to dogs and people, just move away, silently, from them and ignore whatever she is doing, if you interact with her personal scenario of make an issue of it, you will almost certainly make it worse.
