Ok, I am just looking at a dog to purchase. but have found a few issues. Which I think need discussion. Anyhow the dog has a certian registration name on her AKC papers, yet another registration name on her pedigree papers. Whats wrong with this picture?

When you say her pedigree papers do you mean Certified pedigree or something printed from a site like here.
Do you have an identifer for the dog like tattoo or microchip number. Do you have a picture
Perhaps post the AKC name and number and the second name from the pedigree and see if anyone knows the names and may have a picture of the dog.
Could be an error if they sent it to you email and just attached the wrong pedgree but your right it does sound funny.

It could also be that someone changed the dog's name for what ever reason. This sometimes happens when people buy a dog for their kennel. Or it could just be an error of some sort.
