I passed this info on to a friend who does GSD rescue in Wisconsin.  If she is in town and has room perhaps she can help.

Yes there were a ton of dogs in the videos on the site, but all looked like they had food, shelter and water....looked like most were social and friendly, couldn't see mass amounts of mess, bags that looked like cedar/wood shavings for bedding were all around......  All looked well taken care of.  Why are they being taken away from the owner?

birdwing, I agree with you.

all of the dogs had good flesh, seemed friendly, had clear-happy eyes, all of the kennels had shelter.

i did not see any piles of poop, hurt or sick looking dogs.

could someone tell me why were these dogs taken away from this breeder?

The dogs are safe right now. We are canceling this call for help for the moment.....

Just too many for one lady to take care of, though it did look as if she spent her whole day every day doing so - dogs were all in good shape, good coat, good weight, and pens looked large and clean with adequate shelter.  Just too many for her to care for - and she should have stopped breeding long ago.  Very sad for those dogs, all looked like really nice dogs!  Just too many of them for them to get any attention, they all seemed desperate for attention.

Maybe the human needs rescue as well.  It happens.  We all get old.  Sigh....
