As smooth as it could....found out some more things about the woman who had her. The police don't want to think she stole my dog but agree that she shouldn't have taken her away from where she was "found". The woman took her to 2 vets, updated her shots, had her bathed and scheduled to be spayed but thought she was already spayed when they saw a scar. The scar was from a surgical insemination and the tattoo is RIGHT NEXT to the scar. You see the scar you can't miss the tattoo!!

Seems pretty clear she was planning on stealing the dog, if she didn't actually take her in the first place. Glad she's home. It's always nice to hear about good endings.
