Golden Retrievers and Standard Poodles in Schutzhund - Page 4

 My uncles used my first gsd, a pound puppy, in their hunting escapades.  They liked her  as a retriever when they went duck hunting.  She was as good at retrieving as their trained gun-dogs, but...they didn't like her hard mouth!    She also went hunting with a pack of Beagles with a hillbilly neighbor who loved her.  He liked her as a hunting dog, too.   She didn't do too well with the coonhounds, though.  Seems she didn't take that job too seriously.
