It's neat to see all the ideas people have with there dogs ,not everyone is into Schutzhund. Basic obedience, home alarm system, walking buddy, protection at home and on the street.drug dog, blind etc. What about you???

For my Lexie, get a start on at least a Schutzhund 1 this year.  Will probably be in the fall since I'm expecting in a couple of months.  Hope to compete in the HGH again in the fall.  And get one more leg for her AKC HXCs.

For my Ike, working on AKC herding Championship points come fall trial season.  Beyond that maybe, just maybe think about an FH.  But, overall he's done everything and then some that I've asked of him.  Oh, I can apply for the GSDCA Performance Award of Merit this year.  :)

Hello

Well I need to, first, find me  a helper, that can help me.

I need to get a ScH one one on of my dogs, Another one I like to ,too. But it all falls and rises with a helper, I can do some things by myself but not all. So i will try my best...

One of my other girls is supposed to concentrate on Agility- actually she makes me...  and maybe I can get her to bark for the sleeve.

Number 4 needs to grow up, and have a lot of fun.

another one needs to go back to work, sniffing things...

and my old Man, he wants to get spoled rotten.

My lady though , she will get lots of fun, tracking and doing all sorts of fun stuff.

Well  besides them big goals i want to spend much more time with them, taking them all for walks, and do other fun stuff with them. I hope I can make a little of all them plans come true, and if it is just the fun stuff, hey than so be it!

For mine it's:

Jamieson - (10 1/2 yo rescued White GSD) Get arthsis under control and just spoil him

Bree - (4 yo German Showline) Get her weight back down and start working her in brace with my younger dog for competition

Ty Ty Road (23 mo Red Sable Working Line).  Get his AKC CD and Rally Excellent titles (we just got his Rally Novice last weekend).  Start competing in Flyball and possible start Agility (we've done some workshops so we'll see how that goes)  Pet Therapy work with childrens' reading group (he just qualified now we have to get a schedule set up).

My goal for Granduer is to beat her present time of 36.6 on the 550 yard dash. I'd like at least a 35 flat. Then her BH by the end of the year.

For Heidi, my beloved Alpha female personal companion, protection dog, best friend and is quick to fight with large breed Alpha females or any dog that manages to make it in our yard...our goal is no fighting this year.  2007, she got into an altercation with an Alpha female GSD (my fault) with no injuries to either dog, 2008, a psycho lab attacked her and she ended up with stitches (I was extremely angry because the Lab had a history of attacking dogs and humans and was loose)....so I just really want no dog fights this year and I wouldn't mind if I could find a way to break her from raiding the trash, but I've been working on that for years with no luck.  Most of all, I wish for continued good health for her as she is my baby and starting to age....she's the dog in my avatar. For Apollo, he didn't start Schutzhund until he was almost 5 (I got him when he was 4.5 years old) and he's doing really well but I don't think there is time to really compete with him.  I am overly competitive at everything I do, so this will be my first time doing any sport just for fun, my first time handling a Schutzhund dog, and it's just going to be interesting.  My goals are for him to have fun, for me to learn, and to boost his confidence and make him as happy as possible as he had some rough times before I got him.  Maybe a BH for him because he has so many odds against him. I hope to add a female puppy (I tend to bond more with a female) at some point in 2009, she will be the first dog I truly compete in Schutzhund with, and my goals for her are to raise her right, making as few mistakes as possible, and to give her the home life of a champion.  So I guess my goals for her are actually personal goals to become a better, more educated handler so she can live up to her full potential. Happy New Year to All! -Nichole

This year I would like to get the SchH3 on my showline male Aiko. I am planning on getting his SchH1 in March.  I would also like to do his KKL in June. After I get his KKL and SchH he will be retired. Who knows, if our scores are good enough, maybe I will try and compete with him at a Regional trial the end of this year. This is a BIG maybe.

I am also wanting to get the BH on Xena, my Czech female. I would like to get her SchH1 the end of this year. I would like to take her to the regionals next year HOPEFULLY.

I am also working my boyfriends male, TJ. I would like to get his BH and SchH1 in March also.  I would like tho have TJ's SchH3 by the end of this year also. After TJ is titled he is going to be trained as my boyfriends (who is a Police Officer) K9. TJ has started his narcotics training too.

These are my goals for this year, I am hopeing that I fulfill them all!!!!!
