Ah! Jane good question, there are soooo many to choose from, but i would have to agree with you the great Zamp would do very nicely, the ultimate gsd!!!! Kim if your reading this i would have said Rookie, but i know that will never happen. lol. liz

Liz, you appear to be hatching  a plan to make Rookie yours, maybe you can help me with my Zamp plan?! It involves lots of lovely liver treats, bottles of black hair dye for Zamp, and a good disguise for me, followed by a midnight dash across the channel on Xmas Eve.  What a lovely xmas day i would have! I dont want to show him, or even provide him with lots of girlfreinds, just want to admire and cuddle him, and see how great he looks in front of my fireplace!

Yep, ive lost the plot, the flu virus thing with lots of other unpleasant side effects has descended on my house this week!  I woke up today feeling like id gone 10 rounds with George Foreman, or maybe someone beat me with a George Foreman grill, but its horrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrid! How long can a person survive on Coffee and Paracetamol?!!!! Ive even gone off chocolate, so the situation is dire! I just caught sight of myself in the mirror, and I resemble some kind of crossbreed mutt today! Walkies! Fresh air and a 3 mile drag with a mastiff cross called Jack who thinks he is a steam train is bound to make me feel better!

Oh! dear Jane i know exactly how you feel, we had the "bug" too, eat lots of garlic.lol. I hope you get better soon for your secret mission to Germany,or i might sneek in before you. That's if i can drag my fat old a...e away from my computer long enough,LMFAO.  Seriously Jane, get well soon, liz

by zacsmum on 21 December 2008 - 11:12

Thanks Liz, as they say, things can only get better! Im just very glad it isnt the dreaded man flu, else I would have to ring in a sickie to work, take to my bed, and be waited on hand foot and finger! Does your son coming round with Galaxy and paracetamol count as being waited on?!

Have a good day, im off to walk Jack, and then watch some more episodes of the Dog Whisperer. I think he is great, but I never hear any comments from his fellow countrymen mentioned here? I will put the cat amongst the pigeons now and say I think there are lot of less than well informed doggie owners in the U.S! And what pleases me even more is the fact that most of the problem dogs are tiny yappy dogs with huuuuuuge attitudes. Hardly ever a shepherd with a problem in sight. And the shepherd that Caesar has is gorgeous. And as for his pit, well, a lesson for us all in how a stable, relaxed and happy dog should be. That is my other xmas wish, to open those gates and sit in the middle of Caesars pack, what an experience that would be. Ah well, there is always next year!

She's very nice... to be honest... I'd prefer a stronger head, but I like strong bitches.

Liz, I rather like the bitch in your avatar...

Zacsmum, I'd like Bob vom Patriot for Christmas but I'd happily settle for the nice Spanish bitch for sale on here!

Missbeeb, I can cut you in on the doggie kidnap plan if you wish?  The more the merrier!

by zacsmum on 21 December 2008 - 12:12

I have to say, there are some stunning dogs for sale on this board.  Arko is producing some devastatingly handsome sons with the gorgeous mask and good structure. And Kennel Arlett just keep producing quality dogs all the time. Now there is a woman with her head screwed on right, also producing beautiful sables with great conformation, not an easy task. (sorry working folk, no offence intended, but i prefer show lines!)

Liz, due to circumstances, I havent owned a GSD for 5 years, but im always here getting my fix, and watching with interest. My last shepherd was a male from Moonwinds, a grandson  of Mahdi and Emir, so you can see where my Arlett predjudice comes from. Do you know if they are still breeding? Do they have a website?

Moonwinds are still on the go!  If they have a website, I don't know the addy but they still advertise in the Yellow Pages down here.

There are some lovely dogs... that's 2 bitches from Spain that I've fallen for, I understand the first one I liked went to Ireland, I hope they're lucky with her, she looked beautiful.

Zacsmum, i wouldn't mind sitting in Caesers pack either, he's quite handsome, lol. You are so right about the Arlett kennel. Missbeeb, thankyou, the bitch in my avatar was actually my daughters, crossed the Rainbow Bridge nearly 6 years now. She was a top female of her time and left us with many super progeny. Hope you get your Christmas wish, and you Jane. liz

Liz, you are so right, can you imagine having  man that is pleasing on the eye, has a great butt, and is sooooooooo great with dogs!  Where have I been going wrong?!  Feeling lots better now, think im on the mend, just in time for bah humbug day!
