Firstly, that's an impressive very young dog - well done.
For me the most insightful part of this vid is at the very end, when the pups flanks are tapped with the handle of the whip.
Music to my ears friend, because the noise which comes out of this pup is unmistakably - anger.
I much prefer to hear a dog getting pissed off when pressured, and this young guy got pissed off very quickly, which in my book ticks a LOT of boxes. (High fight drive)
With maturity that anger will ensure he diggs in for the long haul when the going gets very tough and will also see him climbing up the gears re intensity.
Answer to your question - GENETICS.

I'd say both, genetics and training.
Nice pup.
@bubbaboobo: if this looks just like an excited pup to you, you don't know dogs.
Finding a 5 month old, almost 6 month old shepherd that retrieves metal/copper/steel pipes and goes right into you to play with it, and not playing keep away instead, with a calm grip like that, isn't easy. I'd take this dog in a heartbeat, if the food drive is as high as his other drives, and he's balanced and got an off switch in the house, than you've hit the damn jackpot. It can't get any better than this.
The only thing that could be misconstrued is how noisy he is on the sleeve. Some may say it's conflict.
What I see is drive, intensity, speed, thick bones, nice structure, focused dog, arousal (butt fluff), and a dog that wants to work, and goes into you. He's going to be an extremely fun dog to work with. :D

thanks, baerenfangs, you think metalapport and biting hard sleeve in this age is trainable
this is future LE dog, I think, tempted to keep

Have you read my post? I said BOTH! Genetics and Training. You are seriously reading what you want to read!
And yes, when the drive is there, you can solidify with training at that age but it won't work if the genetics aren't there. Not all dogs pick the metal pipe up from the very beginning and are being trained to do so before they are being sold. Especially if people know what you are looking for and they are being imported. Don't be so naive to think it isn't done. Been there done that with dogs! But again, the genetics have to be there.
There are dogs that are being conditioned in the whelping box already. That's training.
Noise, rattling a cherry can before setting food down food from the time they are being weaned, being backtied as puppies and on the flirtpole, chasing objects and metal pipes. I highly doubt that was the first time he's chased that metal pole or has been on a training field.
If I was you, I'd keep the dog for sure, at least until he's a year to 15 months old and then re evaluate once he goes through maturity.

sure he was biting before, but again for a boy his age to bite hard sleeve is not trainable , must be there,
his sister is same in biting, little lower on apport drive
