I currently use "Scent Logix" (http://www.scentlogix.com) to train my detection K9's. I am located in Canada, and order thru dogsportgear.ca. The only down fall is that they come in pouches. I can not train with small/trace amounts. I own a private company, and not affiliated with any law enforcement agency and therefore can not legally posess actual narcotics. I have submitted my application to health canada to get a kit, but still waiting on approval.

My question is, what is your opinion on other brands like "Sigma"? I see it comes loose in bottles, where I can portion out training amounts and they do ship to Canada as far as I can tell.

I also have been reading about these scent pens (http://www.securesearchinc.com/catalog/Microtrace.htm) and they seem interesting, just a little more training involved for obvious reasons.

Anyone in Canada training with pseudo? What are you using? Pros and Cons?

Please note, I do validate and train my dogs with the "real stuff", just don't have constant access to it.

Thanks :)

I have always used SIGMA.... I like there products. I have used them for about 14 years.

I have also used SIGMA for any pseudo that was needed.

I have not actively trained narcotics in several years but never had any problems with their products when I did (in the USA).
