I've called several rescues to see if someone can get her. No one is in the area. I'm in MS and can't get her either. I called the shelter and the female is still there. I hope someone sees this and can get her before she's put down. She's a beautiful dog, such a waste.

Some shelters will throw the word "mix" in there because there is no way for them to prove (or at least they don't have the money nor time to prove) that the dog is in fact purebred. My shelter did that with a rott pup that looked fully rott but we still threw the word mix in there. Liability or something like that, I guess.
