is it true that when ppl from here the USA buy imports form german breeders the mess up the dogs coat

I have NEVER heard of that happening?? I know many dogs that have been imported to USA, and not one has had their coats messed up?

the last dog i imported cost me more to ship than the price of the dog. now that's "messed-up." :(

if your importing or shipping from a very cold climate to a very hot climate, the dog may shed out a bit.
if the hair gets "messed up", i would look at other factors - stress, infection, worms, nutrition.......etc.
people ship dogs all the time........to shows and trials, i don't see much messed up hair with these dogs.
