I posted this in another section but think this is a better venue. I really have no experience with conformation but some who do have given me great compliments about my puppy.
What I would like is just honest opinions/critiques and advice on how to better place/show him. I am so ignorant when it comes to stance, angles and all. I want to show him in
some puppy shows coming up so any help is greatly appreicated.
Thx in advance

I think there is probably a thread about how to stack.

I would love to offer my own opinion of his structure but truthfully the picture does not help at all. I suggest you work on the stack first as well as the taking of the picture. You can make a search for older threads on stacking and taking pictures of a stack. Good luck.

Ist things first, you will find it helps if you get down level with
the puppy, rather than taking the photo partly looking down
@ him.

Thank you, I will work on that tonight and hopefully have new pix tomorrow.

Obviously there isn't much we can tell you about his conformation from the two pictures you have here. But from what I can see, he is a very nice boy. Nice bone, nice masculine head, nice strong ears and gorgeous pigment. Definitely looking forward to better pictures.

from the photo, i see it has a high wither and is bit east west in the front.
but the photo doesn't give a fair photo to critique from.

to critique a dog/puppy a photo in this position is needed.
it takes 3 to do this.
1 - position dog
2 - hold camera about 12-18" above ground and perpendicular to the ground
3 - holding object of interest infront of the dog to help it to look interested with head in normal position.
along with this pose, photos of from the front, sitting or standing and also photo from the back standing naturally are very helpful

Thank you @Sitasmom
That will help me in the pic taking process. I found an old thread with a video posted on how to stack. I practiced last night but will need
my gf to help me actually take the pic......as it is a process lol
